Congratulations to everyone for a successful first Garden Walk Geneva. The residents of the Washington Street area were pleased to welcome over 200 vistors to view fifteen lovely gardens in our neighborhood.

This was a self-guided tour using the map provided at the headquarters booth in Pulteney Park.

The walk was held on Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24, 2012. Watch this site for information on next year's walk!

Contributions went to two local organizations:

Boys and Girls Club of Geneva and
Geneva Scholarship Associates.

When is the walk?

The garden walk was Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24, 2012 from 10 AM to 4 PM EST.

Where does the walk begin?

The garden walk began at Pulteney Park, at the east end of Washington Street. See the map below for driving directions.

How much does it cost?

The walk is free. We are asking for a small contribution which benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva and Geneva Scholarship Associates.

What about bad weather?

The garden walk takes place rain or shine. Bring your umbrella if there is a chance of a summer shower.

DIRECTIONS

From the north:
From the New York State Thruway (I-90), take exit 42 - Geneva. Turn south on Route 14 5.8 miles toward Geneva. Turn right on to North Street. Turn left onto South Main Street/Route 14 to Pulteney Park on your right.

From the south:
From the Southern Tier Expressway (Route I-86/17), take the Elmira exit off of I-86 for Route 14 North. Follow Route 14, approximately 50 miles, until you reach Geneva. Pulteney Park is in the center of town on your left.

From the east or west:
From the New York State Thruway (I-90), take exit 42 - Geneva then follow the directions from the north.
